Bush's EPA and the Post-9/11 Toxic Air Cover-Up

Jenna Orkin (part of the World Trade Center Environmental Organization who I mentioned in the recent Loose Change piece) is part of a group of residents, students and office workers, exposed to the toxic dust following 9/11, who are bringing a case against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). When asked whether there might be occasions when it would be justified for the government to lie to the public by giving false reassurances Alisa Klein, an EPA lawyer, answered, "Yes."
